A Better Look At Tony Stark's New Arc Reactor For Avengers: Infinity War

Image
Though he still uses Iron Man suits, Tony Stark had lost his arc reactor chest way back in  Iron Man 3. Avengers: Infinity War  seems to change things, however, as Robert Downey Jr. is seen sporting another arc reactor on his chest in set photos for the movie. Check it out:  Follow Okoya   @ReidReid30 @ Marvel_Freshman  Have you seen these ? 9:16 PM - Aug 23, 2017   8 8 Replies     16 16 Retweets     41 41 likes Twitter Ads info and privacy The design of the arc reactor (as well as the Iron Man suit for the film) seem a bit alien, and some fans are wondering how exactly Tony will get them in the movie. Will he visit Asgard and forge his new armor there? Is the new arc reactor physically embedded in his chest? My personal guess for the arc reactor coming back is, with Thanos having the ability to control time with the Infinity Gauntlet, he simply undoes the surgery that Stark had back in  Iron Man 3  and returned the shrapnel back in his heart, forcing Tony to make another arc reactor.

Avengers 4: A Close-Up Of Iron Man's 'Alien' Arc Reactor

Image
We’ve seen some images of Tony Stark’s new ‘alien’ armor from  Avengers: Infinity War , and a lot of speculation is going around to how he actually got it. Did an alien symbiote attach itself to the armor and made Iron Man look like that, or was it armor forged in Asgard?  The suit also seems to be running on some alien tech as well, because we have a new close-up image of Tony Stark’s new arc reactor. Since the tech looks very  Guardians of the Galaxy , I’m guessing Tony will get his hands on the same mechanics that makes Star-Lord’s helmet disappear, and the chest piece can actually morph into th

This "main event" gladiator battle has been one of the highlights of the upcoming superhero film. The Grandmaster (Jeff Goldblum) is also seen spectating the event. It's expected that the two Avengers will team up again probably after the duel. For now, check out the TV spot above.  Ruffalo described The Hulk's new personality in  Thor: Ragnarok  while speaking to  EW : "He’s much more of a character than the green rage machine you’ve seen in the Avengers movies. He’s got a swagger. He’s like a god.” Thor: Ragnarok  combines the  Ragnarok  storyline in the comics with  The Planet Hulk .  Synopsis: Thor’s world is about to explode in Marvel’s Thor: Ragnarok. Avengers 4 Set Photos Confirm Gwyneth Paltrow’s Return (And Many Other Characters)

Image
If you need more Pepper Potts in your life, then you will want to mark your calendars for 2019. Avengers 4 is set to hit theaters in a couple years, but work is already underway on the project. And, thanks to new set photos, fans have learned Gwyneth Paltrow will return for the movie. Over on Twitter, set photos from Avengers 4 recently hit the Internet, and the shots showed Pepper’s staying power. The images, which were taken by BackGrid, show Paltrow standing on set with Robert Downey Jr. and Mark Ruffalo. The actress is seen sans makeup and wearing a casual outfit comprised of white slacks and black tank-top. There are no details lurking in the photos which hint at Pepper’s role, but the character’s return is a welcome one. Tony Stark’s former assistant-turned-lover has kept a low profile in the MCU since Iron Man 3 debuted. After years of being MIA, Pepper finally returned to the big screen with Spider-Man: Homecoming this summer. The character was shown coordinating a press confe

After many years of preparation, the mad Titan Thanos was finally able to achieve his goal — to capture all six of the infinity stones, combining them into a powerful artifact — the Gauntlet of Infinity, where Thanos becomes the most powerful being in the universe, the power which has no equal. The universe is in terrible danger. Danger threatens everyone, forcing humanity to once again appeal for help to the Avengers. But what if the events of "Civil War" and "Ragnarok" had to pull and separate the Greatest Heroes of the Earth? Even with new team members in the face of Spider-Man and Doctor Strange, can the Avengers put aside our differences, and stand shoulder to shoulder against the terrible threat that has been brewing for a long time? And even if they unite, can the Avengers defeat Thanos with the power that even the gods feared would drive? There is a huge chance that this battle will be their last. Captain America Kills A MCU Avenger

Marvel’s villainous Captain America just keep on killing, with his latest victim now confirmed to be Natasha Romanoff, the Black Widow. It’s not the first famous face from Marvel’s Cinematic Universe that Steve Rogers has killed in the rise of his Secret Empire, after revealing that the hero known as Captain America was a Hydra spy all along. As the rest of Marvel’s heroes try to undo the cosmic twist that turned Steve evil, the body count continues to grow – as it turns out, Agent Phil Coulson was just the first MCU fan favorite to die. But where Coulson was killed because he knew too much, and killed indirectly by Deadpool, Steve Rogers has done the latest deed with his own two hands. Well, to be more specific, he took the life with his signature shield. It wasn’t the Avenger he set out to kill, but with killing blow left little doubt about the victim’s survival. There was a chance that it was simply a twist – one of the now-mandatory bombshells in each Secret Empire issue – but wit

The Death Of Black Widow

Image
Yes, as Black Widow manages to shove Miles back from the fight, Steve slams the point of his shield squarely into the side of her neck. Thanks to the X-ray details from artist Andrea Sorrentino, fans can see that the blow shatters Nat’s jaw, part of her skull, and comes to a stop buried in the vertebrae of her neck. It stops the exchange of blows as her blank face falls to the ground, in what we now know are her final moments. And just that quickly, Captain America has – unintentionally, it might seem – killed another colleague he used to call a friend. Secret Empire #8 makes no mention of Natasha having survived, being given medical treatment, meaning fans are left to accept this as her true, honest to goodness death. Miles soon unleashes his full strength and anger on Cap, bloodying him and carrying him to the spot he should kill him… but refuses, choosing to honor Widow’s wishes for him to live on by staying his hand. Some might argue that Nat really would have wanted someone to kil

15 Things Marvel Wants You to Forget About Captain America

Image
Since he first appeared punching the Führer of the third reich on the cover of Captain America Comics #1 in 1941, Captain America has been the literal physical embodiment of American patriotism and ideology in comic book format. He’s so American, he’d stand for truth, justice, and the American way if they hadn’t all been trademarked by his equally American DC counterpart. His whole character is that yes, he really is as blatantly flag-waving and gently patriarchal as he comes across as. Though simple on the surface, this actually makes him surprisingly complex and compelling, partially because, as the avatar of American ideals, he is forced to reflect how America itself isn’t exactly a perfect nation. Yes, just like his namesake, Captain America has more than a few skeletons tucked away in his closet, which is presumably filled with American flags and a collection of old military uniforms. And while Marvel loves to hold him up as the paragon of patriotism, there can be no hidden secret

15 Things Marvel Wants To Keep Hidden From Fans

Marvel is one of the biggest names in comics, the driving force behind the likes of the X-Men, the Hulk, Spider-Man, the Avengers — the list goes on. Marvel’s superheroes are everywhere in entertainment. They’re starring in blockbuster films at the movies. They’re headlining their own TV shows across all sorts of networks and streaming services. They rescued a brand name that was dangerously close to disappearing just 20 years ago…but Marvel isn’t the squeaky-clean company it appears to be. Though it created the iconic characters that kids of all ages still love, Marvel’s closet is full of skeletons. There are lots of things that Marvel hopes to keep hidden from fans, particularly now that they’re creating hit after hit in the entertainment industry. The Marvel you think you know is a lot like its characters: heroic, good and just. But the real Marvel is actually a dark alter-ego of that shining hero persona. The real Marvel has played the villain more than once. What evil plots has t

HOW MARY JANE DIED?

Image
It’s a big deal in the comic book world that Peter Parker’s girlfriend Gwen Stacy died — seriously, a big deal. Comic book fans mark this as a turning point in the way comics were written, and it’s considered to be a hugely important event. What only mega fans know is that Mary Jane was also killed by Spider-Man. We are referring, of course, to “Spider-Man: Reign.” “Spider-Man: Reign” features an odd storyline that answers the age-old question of whether regular women can mate with superheroes. They cannot. In Reign, Peter Parker is retired from being Spider-Man, and working as a florist. In the flashback panels, readers discover why: he’s killed Mary Jane. And he did it with his sperm.

STAN LEE WORKED FOR DC COMICS

Image
It seems unimaginable that the father of Marvel comics and the creator of such characters as Dr. Strange and Spider-Man would ever work for the company’s biggest rival, but he did. In the 1990s, Stan Lee did a series of comics with DC called “Just Imagine.” There were 13 issues total, and each featured Stan Lee’s own take on a DC Comics superhero. He covered Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Catwoman, the entire Justice League and several others. Tie-ins between the two companies date to 1976, when Clark Kent, Lois Lane and Stan Lee make a cameo appearance in “X-Men I #98.”

This is the hidden origin of DEADPOOL

Image
Die-hard Marvel fans deny it and debate it, but most people believe that Deadpool is really nothing more than a ripoff of the DC Comics character, Deathstroke. Deadpool was created by Fabian Nicieza and Rob Liefeld to be part of the New Mutants. Meanwhile, Deathstroke was already known for terrorizing the Teen Titans in the pages of DC Comics. Deathstroke, real identity Slade Wilson, was incredibly popular in the 1980s and the Teen Titans was a big seller for DC. One of the most memorable stories was “The Judas Contract,” which featured assassin Deathstroke. So when Deadpool, otherwise known as Wade Wilson, was introduced at Marvel he looked a lot like a ripoff. According to creator Rob Liefeld, a self-professed Deathstroke fan, Deadpool is a totally different character. Because Deadpool seems to be a clear parody of Deathstroke, not all fans are happy with Liefeld’s comments.
