Hilarous Hulk And Loki Scene Cut From Thor: Ragnarok
Thor: Ragnarok might have had a number of scenes reminding Marvel fans of memorable moments in other films in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, however, it seems like director Taika Waititi had to cut out a callback to Hulk (Mark Ruffalo) and Loki’s (Tom Hiddleston) little brawl in The Avengers.
Sitting down in an interview with Empire, Waititi decided to talk about the different secrets behind his superhero space buddy movie and during the discussion, the filmmaker opened up about a chopped Hulk-Loki reference.
"They all land on the bridge -- Thor, Loki and then Hulk," Waititi told the publication. "They stand for a second. Then Hulk just smashes Loki, punches him out of the frame -- just like in Avengers, when Hulk did it to Thor. It was a crowd favorite, but we just had to get rid of it for time."
For those who don’t remember the Asgardian God of Mischief and the World-Breaker’s interaction in the first Avengers movie, you can check out the scene where Hulk beats Loki and calls him a puny god down below:
Waititi’s shared scene between Hulk and Loki would have been a pretty funny callback. It’s such a shame Ragnarok didn’t have enough space for the sequence. Hopefully, fans will get to see it in the DVD release of the film.
Thor: Ragnarok is currently screening in cinemas.
