The Russos Comment on the New Infinity War Trailer

Image
Even if the first teaser for Avengers: Infinity War has already been screened for the select audiences at this year’s D23 Expo and San Diego Comic Con, Disney and Marvel haven’t released any footage for the larger audiences. So those that weren’t present at these conventions missed the opportunity to see how powerful Thanos really is. Of course, we’ve all read the descriptions of the footage, which have flooded the internet almost as soon as it was screened. But this cannot be compared with actually seeing it. And so we are still hoping for the same teaser to be released online. When will that happen? Well, the principal photography forAvengers: Infinity War finished this past summer. And we believed that the studio will follow the same formula it did with previous ensemble flicks, in the sense that a first trailer will be seen in October. However, we are already in November and the clip is still nowhere to be seen. There were rumors saying that Taika Waititi’s...

How Thor:Ragnarok Sets The Avengers:Infinity War?

Major spoilers for Thor: Ragnarok – Thor: Ragnarok may be the end of the Thor trilogy, but it’s also one of the final films before the mega-franchise MCU reaches its epic culmination with Avengers: Infinity War– and you can bet Taika Waititi’s film sets that up with a few carefully placed clues. For the most part, Ragnarok is focused on being its own thing: an all-out comedy in line with director Waititi’s previous efforts (What We Do In The Shadows and Hunt for the Wilderpeople are essential pre-viewing) as much as it is the story of Asgard’s destruction (although it is that too). But just because it feels like a focused experience – a single episode of a Saturday morning cartoon – doesn’t mean there’s nothing playing into the bigger season arc. Ragnarok‘s littered with wider MCU references, with numerous callbacks to The Avengers but also some directly linking into Thor’s future and specifically the next outing for Earth’s M...

Robert Downey Jr. Announces Avengers 4 Return?

Robert Downey Jr. confirms his return as Tony Stark, aka Iron Man, in Anthony and Joe Russo’s untitled Avengers 4 movie. The upcoming 2019 superhero team-up movie will effectively conclude the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s first saga before beginning anew with the Spider-Man: Homecoming  later that year.Avengers 4 was originally billed as being the second-half of a two-part story, but the studio eventually decided to go in a different direction and make the film standalone. However, that doesn’t mean Avengers 4won’t contain repercussions from Avengers: Infinity War. The Russo brothers completed principal photography on Avengers: Infinity War a few months ago – which will see the Earth’s mightiest heroes reunite against the Mad Titan Thanos and his loyal Black Order – and are now knee-deep in filming what could be their fourth and final MCU installment,Avengers 4. Although Marvel Studios has been tight-lipped about who’s involved...

Tom Hiddleston Admits That Thor: Ragnarok Might Change Loki For Good

Image
There’s a lot of excitement building up overThor: Ragnarok, and while most fans are eager to see what kind of treatment Taika Waititi’s giving Thor (Chris Hemsworth), Hulk (Mark Ruffalo), Loki (Tom Hiddleston) and the rest of the characters of the film, others are a bit worried that their favorite heroes might not be the same. Speaking in an interview with Brandon Davis from Comic Book on the set of the film, Hiddleston finds himself being asked whetherThor: Ragnarok’s version of Loki is different from other versions in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. "Yes, but that's in his nature," the Marvel star explains. "I think he's, he's a mercurial spirit, and the minute you try to define him, he changes shape. He is the shapeshifter in the pantheon, although events in Ragnarok try and inspire to change him forever, I think, but they change for everyone." It sounds a bit surprising that the Asgardian God of Mischief might change forever afterRagnarok, but meeting...
